For Filipino listeners who remember ‘Will You Wait for Me?’, ‘MFEO’ and ‘I Can Make You Feel Good’, the date brings a familiar voice back to the stage. The announcement says the show will mix established songs with new material.

Organizers say the concert will run for at least 90 minutes. However, ticket prices, the showtime and the public ticket sale date have not been announced. Here is what fans can plan around for now.

  • Venue: New Frontier Theater, Araneta City, Quezon City

  • Early access: The release directs fans to Kavana’s official website to register for updates

What to Expect from the Second Act Asia Tour

The tour puts Kavana’s late-1990s catalogue alongside newer music. That means fans can expect more than a short run through the singles that first brought him attention. The organizers have not released a final setlist or named the new songs.

The announcement mentions ‘Crazy Chance’, ‘I Can Make You Feel Good’, ‘MFEO’, ‘Funky Love’ and ‘Special Kind of Something’. It also names ‘Will You Wait for Me?’, ‘Thank You’, ‘Wait for the Day’, ‘If I Fall’ and ‘I Believe’. These are featured titles in the release, not a guaranteed song-by-song setlist.

The promised minimum running time is useful for planning an evening in Cubao. Still, it should not be confused with a confirmed start or door-opening time. Concertgoers will need to wait for the promoter’s event schedule before making specific arrival plans.

The ’90s Songs That Made Kavana a Familiar Name

Kavana broke through in British pop in the 1990s. He released his self-titled debut album in 1997, then followed it with Instinct in 1998. His music found listeners beyond the United Kingdom, including across parts of Asia.

His version of ‘I Can Make You Feel Good’, originally recorded by American R&B group Shalamar, reached No. 8 on the UK Singles Chart. ‘MFEO’ also peaked at No. 8, while ‘Special Kind of Something’ reached No. 13, according to the Official Charts Company.

For many listeners in the Philippines, ‘Will You Wait for Me?’ remains a point of recognition. The song appeared on Instinct, his second studio album. Its slower pace offers a contrast to the upbeat singles that introduced Kavana to British chart audiences.

In the tour announcement, Kavana said, ‘Asia has always shown me so much love.’ He described returning to the region as an emotional step in his music career.

Manila Joins Jakarta and Singapore on the Tour

The Manila concert is one stop on a three-city Asia itinerary. Jakarta and Singapore are also named in the release. Billboard Philippines reports a Jakarta concert on December 12, placing the Manila date immediately after the Indonesia stop.

Billboard Philippines also reports that the Manila performance will be Kavana’s first full headlining concert in the country. Ovations Productions and Flabbergast Productions are identified as the concert’s promoters. The promoters have not yet published the remaining show logistics.

The concert will take place at New Frontier Theater in Araneta City, a familiar venue for live shows in Quezon City. Fans coming from outside Cubao can use the venue location to plan transport, but should wait for the final schedule before setting an arrival time.

Ticket Updates and Venue Reminders

The release points fans to Kavana’s website for early-access registration. It does not give a ticketing platform, price tiers, seating plan or general sale date. As of October 21, those details have not appeared in the public announcement reviewed for this article.

New Frontier Theater advises audiences to buy tickets only through authorised channels. Its general rules also restrict oversized bags and professional recording equipment. Check the venue’s published policies before attending, since concert-specific rules may differ.

For now, the confirmed date is December 13 at New Frontier Theater. Fans can monitor Kavana’s website and the promoters’ official accounts for ticket announcements, final showtime details and any updates to the programme.
