Seiko Announces Limited-Edition ‘Pepsi’ Watches in Collaboration with Soda Brand
Seiko has officially partnered with Pepsi to launch two limited-edition watches, blending the world of horology with one of the most recognizable color schemes in pop culture: the Pepsi red-and-blue bezel. This collaboration marks the first time Seiko has officially joined forces with the iconic soda brand, and it’s sure to be a hit among watch collectors and fans of both brands.

The Pepsi GMT – Seiko’s First Official Pepsi Watch
Seiko’s collaboration features two standout models, starting with the SSK007, a 42.5mm GMT watch that pays homage to the famous Rolex GMT-Master “Pepsi” with its red-and-blue bezel. While the GMT-Master made this color combination famous, Seiko’s version brings a fresh twist with a matte black design, pairing the Pepsi colors with a black silicone strap. This is a first for Seiko, as the brand has never before released a Seiko 5 GMT with a silicone strap.
The Pepsi GMT includes subtle branding, with the words “Pepsi GMT” printed above the 6 o’clock position. Limited to only 7,000 pieces, the watch comes with a Pepsi can-shaped package that mirrors the look of the iconic soda can, making it a must-have for collectors.
The Vintage-Inspired SRPJ99

For those who prefer a less overt nod to Pepsi, the SRPJ99 might be more appealing. This 38mm Seiko 5 automatic watch draws inspiration from the 1990s SKX dive watches, featuring a stainless-steel case and a blue-and-red bezel similar to the original design. The Pepsi logo on the dial adds a touch of nostalgia, evoking the fun, retro feel of 90s branding. This watch ships on a brushed-steel bracelet and also comes in a Pepsi can-shaped box, completing the fun, limited-edition vibe.
Both watches are powered by Seiko’s 4R34 automatic movement and come with limited-edition display case backs showing the model number and the total edition size.
Collector’s Dream and Affordability
Seiko’s “Pepsi” watches are a blend of affordable luxury and pop culture nostalgia, staying true to the brand’s commitment to delivering high-quality mechanical watches at accessible prices. While official pricing has yet to be confirmed, most models in this range typically cost under $400, which makes these new “Pepsi” watches an appealing choice for both seasoned collectors and casual watch fans.
The collaboration also highlights Seiko’s deep connection to the world of pop culture, as the “Pepsi” moniker, once reserved for Rolex’s GMT-Master, now officially belongs to Seiko as well. The release of these watches further solidifies Seiko’s reputation for offering reliable, stylish, and playful timepieces that stand out from the crowd.
Availability and Packaging
Both watches are available in limited quantities, with only 7,000 pieces of each model produced. They are expected to sell out quickly, given the brand’s history of selling out limited-edition releases fast. What makes this release even more exciting is the unique packaging: customers will receive their watches in specially designed cans—one modern and one retro—that reflect the nostalgic spirit of the Pepsi brand.
A Fun, Collectible, and Affordable Watch
Seiko’s collaboration with Pepsi has brought two distinctive and affordable timepieces that will likely resonate with both watch collectors and fans of the brand. The Pepsi GMT and SRPJ99 offer collectors a chance to own a limited-edition watch that combines both style and nostalgia, with the added bonus of a fun, unique design and packaging.
Whether you’re a watch enthusiast or just someone who enjoys a good soda, this limited-edition release from Seiko is sure to make waves in the horological community.
