Gyukatsu BGC is opening this November, bringing a Boracay favourite to Metro Manila for the first time. The restaurant, also known as Gyukatsu Matsumura, will open at Park Triangle Mall in northern Bonifacio Global City. It specializes in gyukatsu, a breaded beef cutlet that diners finish on their own hot stone grill. The Boracay flagship built a loyal following among visitors, and many asked for a Manila branch. Now, BGC diners will finally get to try it.

What Is Gyukatsu?
Gyukatsu is a Japanese dish of beef coated in panko and fried. At Gyukatsu, each order comes with a personal hot stone grill at the table. That way, diners can cook every slice to the doneness they like.
From Boracay to BGC
The brand started in Boracay, where its flagship remains. According to founder Kevin Tan, the team kept hearing guests ask, “When are you coming to Manila?” As a result, the BGC branch becomes its second location and its first in Metro Manila.
Menus and reservation links will be posted on the Gyukatsu BGC website ahead of the opening.
