Filipino gamers can finally shop and play online without switching regions. Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Switch Online will officially launch in the Philippines on November 10, 2026.
The launch gives players in the country local access to Nintendo’s digital store and online subscription service on both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
What to Know About the Launch
- Launch Date: Monday, November 10, 2026
- Services: Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Switch Online
- Supported Consoles: Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2
- Local Prices: To be announced
What You Can Do on the Nintendo eShop
- Buy and download digital games directly from Nintendo’s store
- Purchase downloadable content (DLC) for supported titles
- Sign up for a Nintendo Switch Online membership
Nintendo Switch Online Features
- Online multiplayer and co-op play with friends
- A library of classic games from older Nintendo systems

Until now, Filipino players had to set their Nintendo accounts to other regions, such as the United States or Japan, to use the eShop. Nintendo has not yet shared local game or membership prices, so expect more details closer to launch.
The move follows Nintendo’s launch of the same services in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand in November 2025. It also comes after the opening of the first Nintendo Authorized Store in the Philippines earlier this year.
