Din Tai Fung Launches Ube Crunch Xiaolongbao for Its 11th Anniversary in the Philippines

Din Tai Fung is giving its famous xiaolongbao a Filipino twist. The restaurant has launched the new Ube Crunch Xiaolongbao, a limited-time dessert dumpling made to celebrate Din Tai Fung’s 11th anniversary in the Philippines and XLB Day 2026.
Each piece is filled with rich, creamy ube halaya and a biscuit crunch, then wrapped using Din Tai Fung’s signature 18-fold technique.
What’s in the Birthday Basket
The Ube Crunch Xiaolongbao is part of the Birthday Basket, which pairs it with the much-loved Chocolate Lava Xiaolongbao, another Philippine-original creation made with warm truffle chocolate in a chewy mochi wrapper.
