Barbie Almalbis and Kitchie Nadal Reunite for ‘CROSSFADE’ in Mandaluyong
Last Updated on October 2, 2026 by Over Here Toronto
Barbie Almalbis and Kitchie Nadal will reunite for CROSSFADE, a one-night, two-billed concert happening on October 11, 2026, at Matchpoint Sports Bar and Events in Mandaluyong City. The show brings together two familiar voices from Philippine rock for extended sets featuring career favorites and newer releases.
For fans who grew up listening to Pinoy alternative and rock, CROSSFADE offers a more intimate way to catch both artists on the same night.
What to Expect From Barbie Almalbis and Kitchie Nadal’s CROSSFADE
Instead of a large arena setup, CROSSFADE puts Barbie Almalbis and Kitchie Nadal in a smaller live venue, giving audiences a closer look at their respective catalogs.
Both artists are expected to perform a mix of established favorites and newer material. The format gives each musician room for a longer set while connecting songs from different points in their careers.
Singapore-based Filipina singer-songwriter Thea Madrideo, who performs as bloo!, will join the show as the front act.
Doors are scheduled to open at 6:00 PM.
Barbie Almalbis and Kitchie Nadal Have Shared the Stage Before
CROSSFADE continues a musical connection that Almalbis and Nadal have built through several collaborations.
The two previously appeared together for Secrets at the Music Museum, including a 2016 concert with Aia de Leon.
They reunited again through Tanaw, which brought together women from the Philippine rock and alternative-pop scene. The project included Almalbis, Nadal, Aia de Leon, Lougee Basabas, Acel Bisa, and Hannah Romawac.
Members of the Tanaw Collective later returned for The Repeat reunion concert in 2025 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.
With CROSSFADE, the spotlight shifts back to Almalbis and Nadal and the music that has followed them through different stages of their careers.
