Last Updated on November 6, 2026 by Over Here Toronto
Filipino solo artist neytan brings an unexpected setting to his latest music video, “ikaw lang ang bossing ko.” The Laguna-born, Quezon City-based musician performs the song in a bathroom, while a familiar face waits behind the stall: Ely Buendia, the rock icon and CEO of Offshore Music.
The official music video premiered on October 30 through Offshore Music’s YouTube channel. It builds on the concept of neytan’s earlier lyric video and adds a surprise appearance from what the press release calls “OPM’s ultimate bossing.”
neytan Brings “ikaw lang ang bossing ko” to the Screen
Released on June 19, “ikaw lang ang bossing ko” follows the growing success of neytan’s previous single, “ano lasa ng pag-ibig? edi tipaklong.”
The earlier track gained more than one million Spotify streams and 150,000 TikTok spins, according to the press release. Meanwhile, the follow-up song has also been gaining traction. Its message centres on adoration and celebrating a favourite person.
To support the single, neytan worked with Offshore Music to create an official music video inspired by his original lyric video, which appeared on his YouTube channel in June.
A Bathroom Performance With a Surprise Guest
The music video features neytan playing his guitar inside a bathroom at Sari Kitchen. As the lyrics appear on screen, the video introduces a surprise guest waiting behind a stall: Ely Buendia.
The bathroom setting also connects to neytan’s creative approach. He sees these spaces as everyday necessities, making them fitting locations for his musical projects. He also enjoys the humour behind the concept, which reflects his artistic identity.
“It was a very exciting concept and it feels like a weird dream doing it with Sir Ely [Buendia],” neytan shares.
neytan and Ely Buendia’s Connection Through Offshore Music
neytan has been part of Ely Buendia’s Offshore Music label since 2023. His first release under the label was “Microbangs.”
Since then, the artist and the label have worked together to bring his music to a wider audience. The appearance of Buendia in the new music video adds another collaboration to their creative relationship.
neytan Takes on Music Video Editing
Beyond performing, neytan also edited the official music video himself. The multimedia arts student says he enjoys being creative across different fields.
“I generally love being creative in any area,” he adds.
His involvement in the editing process reflects his interest in visual arts alongside his music projects.
