Offshore Music is turning 10, and the label is marking it the way you would expect: with a stage full of bands. “Offshore Music Turns 10: A Decade of Good Noise” takes over 123 Block in Mandaluyong City on November 21, 2026.

Ely Buendia started the independent label in 2016. Since then, it has grown from a home for a single band into a roster of more than 20 artists across a wide mix of genres.

The anniversary night brings together current acts, longtime collaborators and the band that got it all started. Expect a lot of noise, the good kind.

Who is playing the anniversary show

The lineup leans on the label’s current roster: ena mori, ALYSON, Ligaya Escueta, neytan, Sexy Jay and Carousel Casualties.

Collaborators and past partners join them on the bill. Pinkmen will play, along with Apartel, the band that sparked the label’s beginnings. Pop-rock favourites the Itchyworms round out the night.

Buendia, Offshore’s founder and CEO, keeps his pitch short. “The roster speaks for itself,” he says. In his view, the best way to mark the milestone is to do what the label does best, which is play music.

A street fiesta at 123 Block

The event follows a street-style fiesta theme. Along with the live sets, the label plans booths and activities built around its community and the culture behind its music.

The Mandaluyong venue already hosts a steady run of local and touring indie gigs. That makes it a natural fit for a label that has spent a decade working outside the mainstream.

How one band’s home became a full label

Offshore Music began in 2016 as a creative base for Apartel. Buendia and Pat Sarabia wanted more freedom to develop and release their music on their own terms.

According to Buendia, the early goal was simply to see what they could learn by handling their own releases. Over time, the team realized the label could become a real place for artists to grow.

Today, general manager Audry Dionisio leads the label alongside Buendia and Sarabia, with a team of 10. Offshore focuses on artist-first partnerships, creative freedom and backing music that doesn’t always fit commercial expectations.

Dionisio says the anniversary lineup reflects different chapters of the label’s first decade. Some acts have been around since the early days, while newer names show where Offshore is heading next.

A busy year leading up to the milestone

Offshore has spent much of 2026 looking back and looking ahead. Its five-part Offshore Music PH 10th Anniversary Docuseries rolled out on YouTube throughout the year. The series revisits the label’s early days, its approach to developing artists and the big decisions along the way, using archival footage and candid interviews.

New music kept coming, too. On the release side, ena mori put out Ore, a six-track EP about independence, uncertainty and figuring out who you are. ALYSON followed up with a sophomore album, AFTER OURS, which the label says earned recognition both locally and internationally.

Buendia’s solo work is part of the story as well. Offshore supported “Ate,” his collaboration with producer Shadiel Chan, along with Method Adaptor, which came out on vinyl, CD and cassette.

Keeping Eraserheads records in circulation

Archival projects remain a big part of Offshore’s work. The label handled a vinyl release of the Eraserheads’ Fruitcake album and has repressed Ultraelectromagneticpop!

For longtime fans, those releases connect the label to the band that made Buendia a household name. They also keep a key chapter of OPM history available on physical formats.
