Blue Marks 25 Years Since Their 2001 Breakthrough

Blue first arrived on the pop scene in 2001.

Since then, the group has built a catalogue filled with songs that became early-2000s favorites. Their best-known tracks include “All Rise,” “One Love,” “If You Come Back,” “Too Close,” “U Make Me Wanna,” and “Best in Me.”

They also recorded “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word” with Elton John.

Moreover, Blue found major success in the UK. Their first three studio albums — All Rise, One Love, and Guilty — all reached No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart.

The group also collected 11 UK Top 10 singles during its early run. In addition, Blue won two BRIT Awards.

They received British Breakthrough Act in 2002. A year later, they won British Pop Act.

‘Reflections’ Adds New Music to the Anniversary Tour

The tour will not focus only on nostalgia.

Blue released its seventh studio album, Reflections, on January 9, 2026. The 13-track record arrived as part of the group’s 25th anniversary era.

All four members contributed to the songs.

As a result, the album looks back on their friendship and shared career. However, it also reflects the members’ more recent personal experiences.

Tracks include “The Vow,” “One Last Time,” “Look What You Started,” and “Waste My Love.”

The album also includes “Beautiful Spiritual,” “Where I Come From,” and “Souls of the Underground.”

Blue’s official website currently features Reflections alongside the group’s anniversary tour.

For longtime listeners, that means the Philippine concerts can mix familiar hits with newer material.

Blue Is No Stranger to Filipino Fans

The upcoming shows continue Blue’s long connection with listeners in the Philippines.

In fact, the group was recently in Manila in November 2025. They joined David Archuleta and Vanessa Carlton for the Playback Pop It Up Music Festival at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Now, Blue will return with its own anniversary tour.

That makes the January shows another chance for Filipino fans to hear songs many first discovered during the height of early-2000s pop.

At the same time, younger listeners can experience the group’s catalogue live alongside songs from Reflections.

What Filipino Fans Can Expect

The Blue 25th Anniversary Tour celebrates both the band’s past and its current chapter.

Their biggest hits remain a major part of the story. However, the four members are still recording and touring together 25 years after their debut.

Simon Webbe summed up that connection while discussing the band’s current chapter: “We’re all artists, we’re all brothers, we’re all Blue.”

For Filipino fans, the three-city tour offers more than a standard throwback show.

Instead, it brings together the songs that built Blue’s career with the music they are creating today.

The Philippine run begins at the New Frontier Theater on January 28. It then moves to Davao on January 30 and Cebu on January 31.

Tickets go on sale October 10 through TicketNet and Ticketmelon.
