Angelica Lopez Goes for a Philippine Three-Peat at Miss Grand International 2026
Last Updated on October 9, 2026 by Jaskaran Singh
The Angelica Lopez Miss Grand International journey reaches its biggest moment this weekend. The Philippines’ bet heads into the 2026 Grand Final this Saturday, October 10, at the MGI Hall at Bravo BKK in Bangkok, Thailand. Lopez is up against 76 other delegates for the crown. On top of that, she’s chasing a rare “three-peat” for the country, after Filipinas won the title in both 2024 and 2025. Here’s what to know before the big night, including how to watch and support her.

Who Is Angelica Lopez
Lopez is a pageant veteran from Palawan. She was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International in 2023 and competed at Miss International in Japan in 2024. Then, in August 2026, she won the top title at the first-ever Reina Filipinas pageant. That win earned her the right to represent the Philippines at Miss Grand International this year.
Can the Philippines Score a Three-Peat?
The pressure is real. Christine Juliane “CJ” Opiaza won Miss Grand International in 2024. After that, Emma Tiglao took the crown in 2025. So, if Lopez wins, it would be the country’s third straight victory and would make the Angelica Lopez Miss Grand International run one for the history books.
Still, Lopez has said that feeling pressure is normal when you represent your country. She’s also brushed off doubters, saying negative opinions won’t help her grow.
Her Angelica Lopez Miss Grand International Highlights So Far
- National costume: On October 7, she wore a 19-kilogram “mangkukulam” (witch) costume by designer Patrick Isorena.
- Preliminaries: She brought her signature high-energy walk to the swimsuit and evening gown rounds.
- Fellow delegates: In a closed-door interview, four other delegates picked her as their choice to win if they don’t.
How to Watch and Vote
The Grand Final streams live on the GrandTV YouTube channel. Meanwhile, fans can vote for Lopez in the online “Miss Popular” poll. The top vote-getter earns a guaranteed spot in the semifinals, so every vote counts.
It’s also a busy pageant weekend overall. For example, MJ Ordillano represents the Philippines at Mister Global on the same night, and Jayvee Lyn Lorejo competes at Miss Global on October 11.
