IV of Spades Reunion Concert Set for Dec 12 at MOA Arena
If you have been waiting for a real IV of Spades reunion, it is finally happening. After years of silence and speculation, the band is officially back, and they are not starting small.
The OPM quartet just announced they are headlining their first solo concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on December 12, 2025. This is their first major show since all four members reunited earlier this year.
This Is Not Just a Rumor
This comeback is the real deal. The concert, organized by KARPOS, comes right after the band surprised fans with three brand-new singles in a row: “Aura” in July, “Nanaman” in August, and “Konsensya” in September.
All this new music is leading up to their much-anticipated second album, Andalucia, which is set to drop on November 5. That is a full six years after their smash debut record, CLAPCLAPCLAP!.
The Comeback Fans Have Been Waiting For
For longtime fans, this concert is the full-circle moment everyone has been hoping for. IV of Spades—with all four original members, Unique Salonga, Blaster Silonga, Zild Benitez, and Badjao de Castro—became one of the biggest and most influential Filipino bands of the late 2010s.
Their unique retro sound and style gave us massive hits like “Mundo,” “In My Prison,” and “Bata, Dahan-Dahan!” The band went on a sudden hiatus in 2020, just two years after frontman Unique Salonga left to start his solo career.
Now, all four are officially back together. Their recent singles prove that the old chemistry is still there. They are blending their classic funk-rock roots with new, evolved sounds.
