BINI Slays Coachella Weekend 2 With Fierce New Looks and Ultimate Filipino Pride

· · · ·

BINI officially wrapped up their historic Coachella 2026 journey with an unforgettable Weekend 2 performance. The Nation’s Girl Group returned to the Mojave stage and proved they can command a massive international audience. They left their first-week nerves behind, delivering a bolder, fiercer, and unapologetically Filipino set.

Fans worldwide watched the P-pop queens trend across the Philippines, with keywords like “Strings,” “Mojave,” “Maloi,” and “Aiah” dominating social media. This performance cemented their status as a global pop force.

A Bolder Setlist and Fierce New Outfits

BINI matched their iconic Weekend 1 energy but brought a noticeable visual and musical upgrade. The group opened their 10-song set with the empowering anthem “Strings” instead of last week’s “Shagidi.” This track highlighted a mature, gritty image that perfectly set the tone for the afternoon.

The group also debuted a striking wardrobe transformation. They ditched the beach-inspired aesthetics of Weekend 1 for a futuristic, warrior-like concept. The girls strutted on stage in edgy metallic silver, dark blue, and red ensembles.

Mid-performance, they executed a seamless quick-change into shimmering light purple and rose gold outfits paired with silver boots.

Here is the complete tracklist that kept the desert crowd dancing:

  • Strings
  • Zero Pressure
  • Out of My Head
  • Karera
  • Salamin, Salamin
  • Blink Twice
  • Cherry on Top
  • Blush
  • Bikini
  • Pantropiko

Highlighting the Philippines Through Regional Languages

The eight members took their Coachella debut beyond a musical milestone and turned it into a massive cultural showcase. They proudly highlighted their roots by introducing themselves in their respective local dialects. Fans online cheered as Maloi spoke in Batangueño, Stacey in Ilocano, Aiah in Cebuano, Gwen in Bicolano, and Colet in Bisaya.

This linguistic diversity showed the world the vibrant and multifaceted identity of the Philippines. Leader Jhoanna capped off the spectacular set by shouting “Mabuhay ang musikang Pilipino!” A massive Philippine flag illuminated the LED screens as they took their final bow.

Kapamilya Stars and Massive Crowds Show Up

You could easily spot the huge jump in crowd size and energy during Weekend 2. Wider camera shots captured a jam-packed Mojave stage, filled with fans waving flaglets and singing along to Tagalog lyrics. The girls completely owned the stage, showing pure confidence and zero self-doubt.

Filipino celebrities flew all the way to Indio, California, just to support the group. Anne Curtis literally sprinted three kilometers to catch the set straight from a New York City gala. Kapamilya heavyweights like Piolo Pascual, Maja Salvador, Alexa Ilacad, and ABS-CBN executives also joined the roaring Mojave crowd.

What Is Next For The Nation’s Girl Group

BINI shows absolutely no signs of slowing down after their desert domination. The octet will head straight to Los Angeles to perform at the Grammy Museum for the Grammy Studios “Global Spin Live!” series on April 22. They will discuss their rising career and perform their upcoming EP, Signals.

Following that, the girls will attend the prestigious Billboard Women in Music ceremony on April 29. Billboard named BINI a “Global Force” honoree, putting them alongside international superstars like Laufey, Kehlani, and Zara Larsson.
