LaLaLa Fest Is Coming to Manila This August — and It’s Going to Be a Big Deal

· · · ·

The Southeast Asian music festival scene just leveled up for Filipino fans. LaLaLa Fest, one of Indonesia’s most prominent and celebrated music festivals, is officially making its Philippine debut this August. Wilbros Live, the country’s leading concert promoter, confirmed the news through a joint announcement alongside the festival’s newly launched “LaLaLa Fest Manila” Facebook page.

This is a first for the festival in the Philippines — and given LaLaLa Fest’s track record, expectations are already running high.

What Is LaLaLa Fest?

LaLaLa Fest is an annual multi-day, multi-genre music festival based in Jakarta, Indonesia. It regularly draws international headliners across indie, pop, rock, and alternative music.

Past editions have featured some of the biggest names in global pop and indie music. Previous headliners include the Black Eyed Peas, LANY, HONNE, Camila Cabello, Tyla, Madison Beer, and The Temper Trap.

Who Is Headlining the 2026 Jakarta Edition?

The 2026 Jakarta edition, happening on August 22 and 23, gives us a strong hint of the caliber of acts the Manila leg could attract. This year’s Jakarta lineup includes:

  • Rex Orange County — British singer-songwriter
  • The Flaming Lips — American rock legends
  • Steve Lacy — Grammy-winning American artist
  • Kodaline — Irish rock band, currently on their farewell tour
  • Two Door Cinema Club — celebrating the 15th anniversary of their debut album Tourist History

Whether or not Manila gets the same lineup remains to be seen — but the bar is set high.

What Do We Know About the Manila Leg?

According to ABS-CBN News, the exact venue, date, and performer lineup for the Manila edition are still forthcoming. Wilbros Live will release further details at a later date.

Filipino music fans have long traveled abroad to attend festivals like this. Now, it’s coming to them.
