The Script Is Coming Back to Manila for TWO Nights in 2027 — Tickets on Sale This May 29
Manila concert fans, buckle up. The Script just made the announcement every Filipino Believer has been waiting for — and overwhelming demand already forced promoters to add a second night before tickets even go on sale.
The Script Books Not One, But Two Manila Nights
The Script returns to Manila for their Man in the Arena Tour, with both shows set at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on March 18 and 19, 2027. This marks the Irish pop-rock band’s sixth official tour stop in the Philippines.
Wilbros Live and Midas Promotions cited overwhelming demand as the reason for adding the second night — and they made that call before a single ticket even sold.
What “Man in the Arena” Is All About
The tour takes its name from the band’s brand-new single, “Man in the Arena”, the lead track off their eighth studio album The User’s Guide to Being Human, dropping on August 14, 2026.
Frontman Danny O’Donoghue drew inspiration from Theodore Roosevelt’s 1910 speech, Citizenship in a Republic. “The honours belong to the one who gets in there and whose face is marred with dust and blood,” O’Donoghue shared, adding that the raw energy of the speech demanded to become a song.

The Script last hit Manila during their sold-out Satellites World Tour at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. O’Donoghue made headlines when he surprised fans by busking on the streets outside the venue, belting out classics like “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved.”
With 33 million monthly Spotify listeners and crowd anthems like “Breakeven” in their arsenal, expect both March 2027 nights to fill up fast.
