Sending money from Maya to another bank is about to get a little cheaper. The Maya InstaPay transfer fee will drop from ₱15 to ₱10 starting July 6, 2026.

The lower fee will automatically appear in the Maya app, so users won’t need to change any settings or activate an offer. Maya-to-Maya transfers and PESONet transfers to other banks will also stay free.

How Much Is the Maya InstaPay Transfer Fee?

The Maya InstaPay transfer fee is dropping to ₱10 per transaction starting July 6, 2026. That’s ₱5 less than the current ₱15 fee for real-time transfers to other banks.

The new price will automatically be reflected in the Maya app once it takes effect.

So, if you regularly move money between Maya and another bank or e-wallet through InstaPay, you’ll save ₱5 every time. It may not sound huge, but those fees can add up pretty fast when you’re making multiple transfers a month.

Which Maya Transfers Are Still Free?

Maya-to-Maya transfers will remain free, so sending money to another Maya user won’t come with an extra charge.

PESONet transfers from Maya to other banks will also stay free, although they follow a standard processing schedule rather than arriving in real time.

That means users now have a few options depending on how quickly the money needs to arrive:

  • Maya to Maya: Free
  • PESONet to other banks: Free
  • InstaPay to other banks: ₱10 starting July 6

If you need the money sent right away, InstaPay is the faster option. If the transfer isn’t urgent, PESONet can help you skip the fee.

Why Is Maya Lowering Its InstaPay Transfer Fee?

Maya said the lower fee is part of its push to make digital financial services more affordable and accessible to Filipinos.

The change also comes as more banks and e-wallets adjust their transfer fees. New BSP transfer fee rules took effect on July 4, limiting how financial institutions can price interbank transfers based on processing costs.

Maya is the latest financial platform to announce a cut, joining other providers that have recently lowered or waived transfer fees.

When Does the New ₱10 Maya Transfer Fee Start?

The new ₱10 fee takes effect on July 6, 2026.

Users don’t need to update their account or sign up for a promo. The adjusted price will automatically appear in the Maya app when making an InstaPay transfer to another bank.

So, if you can wait until July 6 to make that next bank transfer, you might as well keep the extra ₱5. Tiny win, but we’ll take it.
