Spain’s Zero-Sugar Froyo Chain Yolé Opens First Standalone Store in Manila

· · · · ·

Manila’s dessert options have expanded. Yolé, the frozen yogurt brand from Spain, has opened its first full-service shop in the Philippines, located at the Central Atrium of Robinsons Place Manila.

While the brand first appeared with a small kiosk at Robinsons Magnolia earlier this year, this new location is its first standalone branch. It offers a dedicated space for customers, with seating for 12, to sit down and enjoy their frozen treats.

Health-Focused Desserts with Spanish Origins

Yolé was started in Spain in 2019 by the Diaz family. The company’s main goal is to offer desserts made with zero added sugar. Instead of using sugary syrups, Yolé sweetens its products with natural sugars found in milk and fruit.

The brand offers items for different dietary needs. The frozen yogurt is made with fresh milk, while the ice cream line is completely dairy-free, using an oat milk base. Ice cream flavors include Mango Passion Fruit, Pistachio, and Choco Hazelnut.

Build-Your-Own Bowls and Signature Items

Every order at Yolé is prepared on the spot. The shop uses a mix of imported and local ingredients, with toppings and crunches coming from Spain and fruits sourced from local suppliers.

Customers can choose from a variety of toppings, such as mochi, almonds, granola, and cookies. Sauce options include salted caramel, biscoff, and pistachio cream.

A standard cup of frozen yogurt starts at ₱180, and a cup of ice cream starts at ₱280. Other menu items include:

  • Ibiza: A layered parfait with froyo or ice cream, sauces, fruit, and crunches.
  • Twist: A blend of one sauce and one crunch mixed directly into the froyo (₱295) or ice cream (₱395) base.
  • Froyo Shakes (₱395)
  • Boba with Froyo (₱395)

Who Brought Yolé to Manila?

Always Hungry Food Group, Inc. manages the Philippine operations for Yolé. John Tan and Marc Tio founded the company in 2025, with support from industry veterans Charles Paw of Tasteless Food Group and Deb Tan. They aim to bring more varied dessert choices to the Manila market.

With its tart frozen yogurt, oat milk ice cream, and wide selection of toppings, Yolé is becoming a new destination for dessert lovers in the city.
