Alden Richards, Michelle Dee, Max Collins, and more Filipino stars took the runway at Bench Fashion Week Holiday 2026 in Makati. The two-day fashion event ran on September 26 and 27 at SPACE at One Ayala.
The latest Bench Fashion Week brought actors, models, beauty queens, and content creators together with local designers and retail brands. Beyond its celebrity lineup, the event also gave Filipino designers room to present new collections for the Holiday 2026 season. Bench’s official posts confirmed presentations from R.STUDIOS, Bryan Peralta, Edwin Ao, Urban Revivo, Cotton On, 8 Seconds, and other labels.
Alden Richards joined the show on short notice
Alden Richards was among the major names who walked during the event.
His appearance came together quickly. In a report aired on GMA’s 24 Oras, Alden shared that he agreed to join the fashion show only two weeks before it happened. As a result, he had limited time to prepare.
He described the time before going onstage as “the calm before the storm.”
Still, Alden joined a large group of stars who took part in the Holiday 2026 edition. GMA News reported that Michelle Dee and Max Collins were also among the Sparkle artists on the runway.
Michelle also spoke about how she gets herself set before a show.
“I always reenact what I think would make me nervous so when showtime comes, I am always ready,” she said in the GMA report.
For Max, the local runway came shortly after a trip to Milan Fashion Week. She told GMA that she still felt nervous before the Bench show. However, her recent time in Milan helped her approach the runway with more confidence.
More celebrities joined the Holiday 2026 runway
The two-day lineup went beyond Alden, Michelle, and Max.
Metro.Style reported that around 20 celebrities joined the runway across the event. Meanwhile, PEP coverage showed several other names taking part in different shows and presentations.
Among the stars seen on the Bench Fashion Week Holiday 2026 runway were:
- Alden Richards
- Michelle Dee
- Max Collins
- Francine Diaz
- Marina Summers
- Kira Balinger
- Allen Ansay
- Samantha Panlilio
- Bea Millan-Windorski
- Asia Rose Simpson
PEP also documented appearances from Lucy Torres-Gomez, Wilma Doesnt, Ariella Arida, Katrina Llegado, and other guests and runway participants during the weekend.
Michelle and Max were also seen in the BENCH x ChrisNick presentation. PEP’s event coverage specifically showed both women walking for the collaboration.
The mix of actors, pageant figures, models, and creators has long been part of Bench Fashion Week. Earlier in 2026, stars including David Licauco, Michelle Dee, Max Collins, Sofia Pablo, Kelvin Miranda, and others also walked during the brand’s Spring/Summer edition.
Filipino designers present new collections
Celebrity appearances were only one part of the weekend.
Day 1 also put the focus on work from Filipino designers Renée de Guzman, Bryan Peralta, and Edwin Ao.
De Guzman presented Paloma under R.STUDIOS. According to MEGA, the collection drew from Pablo Picasso’s pigeon works and used softer shapes and bird details across the clothes and accessories.
Bryan Peralta, meanwhile, presented The Golden Record. The collection marked his ready-to-wear debut and took ideas from the records sent into space aboard NASA’s Voyager probes in 1977. His pieces also drew from sea life and 1970s shapes.
Edwin Ao presented Chlorophyll Hexagons: The Body in Impermanence. His collection used solar printing and chlorophyll to leave natural marks on fabric. UP Cebu said the clothes looked at how memory, time, and change affect the body.
Along with those designer shows, Bench promoted collections from 8 Seconds, Cotton On, Urban Revivo, BENCH Active, R.STUDIOS, Bryan Peralta, and Edwin Ao as part of the September 26 and 27 schedule.
Bench Fashion Week continues its local runway platform
Bench Fashion Week has become a regular part of the Philippine fashion calendar. The event combines large retail names with work from Filipino designers, while celebrities often appear as models or guests.
For Holiday 2026, the move to SPACE at One Ayala placed the event in the center of Makati. Bench also streamed part of the September 27 program through its Facebook and Instagram pages, giving people outside the venue a way to follow the shows.
This edition came only months after Bench Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026 in April. That earlier event also brought together fashion brands, designers, and a large celebrity lineup.
For the September run, Alden Richards, Michelle Dee, Max Collins, Francine Diaz, Marina Summers, and more helped bring wider attention to the runway. At the same time, collections from Filipino designers remained a key part of the program.
With its two-day Holiday 2026 run now finished, Bench has continued to share runway photos and videos through its official social channels. The posts give viewers another look at the collections and stars who took part in this year’s shows.
