A bike can look convincing on a screen, but a short ride tells you much more. Pedal UP 2026, the Philippine Bicycle Demo & Expo, returns to UP Diliman in Quezon City on November 29 and 30.

Organised by BikeDemo, the two-day event puts bicycles, cycling gear and hands-on testing in one place. Visitors can compare bikes, take demo rides and attend sessions covering different sides of cycling.

Families are part of the plan, too. Organisers anticipate around 25,000 riders, runners and family members across the two days. That number is an attendance projection, not a confirmed visitor count.

Pedal UP 2026: Quick Details

  • Dates: Sunday, November 29, and Monday, November 30, 2026
  • Listed hours: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days
  • Location: CSSP Venue Parking, Roxas Avenue, UP Diliman, Quezon City
  • Main activities: Bike test rides, expo displays, clinics, talks and a kids’ race
  • Admission: Fees and registration details have not been announced in available listings
  • Organiser: BikeDemo / Philippine Bicycle Demo & Expo

Test Bikes Before Making a Purchase

The main draw is straightforward: attendees can get on a bike instead of judging it from a specification sheet. The public event announcement says test courses will operate both days. It lists road, mountain, folding and lifestyle bikes among the models to try.

For someone choosing a first bike, a demo ride can make differences in handling and riding position easier to judge. Regular cyclists can also compare options without travelling between several shops.

A test ride is only one part of the decision, though. Ask exhibitors about sizing, warranty coverage and the exact model on display before placing an order. Those details can differ from one brand to another.

Brand Displays, Workshops And Event-Only Offers

A publicly posted event listing advertises more than 100 bicycle and gear brands for the 2026 expo. It also mentions new product launches and event-only sales, but does not identify specific discounts or participating retailers.

Clinics, workshops and talks are also part of the advertised programme. A detailed session schedule has not been published in the information available so far. Visitors interested in a particular topic should check for updates closer to the event.

The mix could be useful even for riders who already own a bike. Comparing accessories, asking technical questions and seeing new equipment in person can help narrow down future purchases.

A Kiddie Race Adds a Family Activity

BikeDemo expects about 200 children to take part in the kiddie race. That gives families an activity to follow alongside the wider expo and makes the event relevant beyond dedicated cycling groups.

The available announcement does not specify the race age groups, entry fee or start times. Parents should confirm registration, helmet rules and equipment requirements directly with the organiser before signing up.

Families who are not entering the race can still visit the expo together. The public event announcement describes Pedal UP as open to all, including people who are new to cycling.

Pedal UP Has BeenRunning Since 2016

BikeDemo says it has organised the Philippine Bicycle Demo & Expo since 2016. Earlier editions have taken place at Heroes Trail and McKinley West in Taguig, Filinvest City in Muntinlupa, the CCP area and UP Diliman’s Sunken Garden.

The organisers report a previous attendance high of 19,100 people on site at one edition. The projected 25,000 visitors in 2026 would exceed that figure if reached. For now, it remains a forecast supplied by the team.

This year’s location is different from the Sunken Garden site used previously. Public listings place the 2026 expo at CSSP Venue Parking on Roxas Avenue, within the UP Diliman campus.

What to Check Before Visiting

The listed hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday and Monday. Public event information says registration details are forthcoming, and no admission price has been confirmed. Avoid assuming that all activities will be free.

If you want to test a bike, check how demo slots work before travelling. Public details do not yet confirm ID requirements, protective equipment rules or the process for joining a ride.

The same applies to families planning around the kids’ race. Check its confirmed schedule rather than assuming it will run on both days. The Monday date is also worth noting if you are arranging a visit around school or work.

For updates on admission, demo access and the final programme, follow the Philippine Bicycle Demo & Expo Facebook page. The venue is CSSP Venue Parking at UP Diliman, Quezon City.
