Aire32 Opens at The Westin Manila, Offering New Rooftop Views of Ortigas
A new destination has opened high above the Ortigas skyline. Aire32 is now welcoming guests on the 32nd floor of The Westin Manila. Pronounced “ai-re,” the Spanish word for air, this al fresco bar provides sweeping views of the city, making it a prime spot for watching the Manila sunset.
The space features natural textures and a clean design, creating a relaxed atmosphere. According to Alexander Dietzsch, General Manager of The Westin Manila, the goal was to create a space for social experiences that are rooted in connection and balance.
A Focus on Mindful Cocktails
The drink menu at Aire32 offers something different. The bar focuses on mindful drinking with a selection of low-alcohol mixes and creative mocktails. They use artisanal spirits that are free from artificial additives.
Many beverages incorporate locally sourced produce and surplus ingredients. These are turned into flavourful drinks that showcase Filipino resourcefulness.
Spanish Tapas with a Top Chef’s Touch
To go with the drinks, Aire32 serves a menu of tapas and pica-pica. The small plates are inspired by the cuisine of northern Spain.
The food selection comes from the hotel’s Spanish restaurant, Cantabria by Chele Gonzalez. This connection ensures a high-quality dining experience, from light snacks to more substantial plates.
A Versatile Space for Events and Gatherings
Aire32 is more than just a bar. It is also a flexible events venue. The layout includes lounge seating and a private glass-enclosed dining room that can hold up to 20 people.
The entire area can accommodate gatherings of up to 75 guests. The space features a modern bar and a wall projection system, making it perfect for private parties and special occasions.
A Toast to New Beginnings
The venue recently held its official debut with a special preview event. Mybelle Aragon-GoBio, President and CEO of Robinsons Land Corporation, noted the opening’s timing. She said, “Robinsons Land is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, and Aire32, a place to toast to life, couldn’t have come at a better time.”
