Toblerone Truffles Are Here: New Diamond Shape Launches in Manila

When you think of Toblerone, you think of that classic pyramid-shaped chocolate bar, right? Well, get ready for something completely different. The brand just launched its first-ever Toblerone Truffles, and they made their big debut in a very stylish way: at Philippine Fashion Week 2025.
The event, which took place at the Ayala Museum on October 15, 2025, marks a new chapter for the iconic brand. They have traded in their traditional triangle for a smooth, diamond-shaped creation.
So, What Are These New Truffles?
These are not your typical Toblerone bar. The new truffles still have that signature honey and almond nougat we all love, but in a totally new form. They feature a silky milk chocolate shell with a soft, melt-in-your-mouth center.
It is a big deal for us, too. As Adrian Manlapig from Mondelez International Philippines pointed out, “This is Toblerone’s first innovation to launch in a domestic market in Asia.”
Where Chocolate Meets Fashion
To celebrate this new, modern shape, Toblerone teamed up with Philippine Fashion Week for a “Diamond Heist” runway show. Guests at the event got to enter an “immersive vault” setup to sample the truffles before the main show started.
Two of the country’s top designers, Jaggy Glarino and Jerome Salaya Ang, created collections inspired by the truffles’ “Never Square” philosophy. Glarino’s pieces showed off sculptural tailoring with earthy tones, while Ang’s designs had flowing fabrics and leather details that were inspired by the look of molten chocolate.
Models even walked the runway wearing custom accessories that featured the new Toblerone Truffles, turning the chocolate into a high-fashion statement.
A Diamond You Can Taste
The whole idea behind the launch is about breaking tradition. As one of the brand’s managers put it, “Life is too rich and varied to be contained in a square box.”
If you are curious to try them, the good news is you do not need an invite to a fashion show. The new Toblerone Truffles are now available in major supermarkets nationwide. You can also find them online through Lazada, Shopee, and the TikTok Shop.
This launch signals a new chapter for Toblerone, mixing their long history with fresh, new ideas.
