BABYMONSTER Brings the Choom World Tour to Manila This September
Monstiez, clear your schedules and prep your wallets. YG Entertainment’s monster rookie group BABYMONSTER is officially heading to the Philippines. The rising K-pop stars plan to conquer the SM Mall of Asia Arena on September 5 for their highly anticipated Choom world tour.
Local promoter Live Nation Philippines handles the Manila stop, bringing the powerhouse act to the country for their very first live show.
What You Need to Know About the Choom Tour
The massive tour takes its name from the group’s third mini-album, Choom, which dropped on May 4. Fans know the title translates to “dance” in Korean, hinting at the high-energy choreography the girls plan to unleash. YG Entertainment recently confirmed that this ambitious world tour spans five continents.
The group kicks off their journey with a three-night stint in Seoul this June before tearing through Japan. The Asia and Oceania leg features 11 massive stops:
- Manila
- Macau
- Jakarta
- Bangkok
- Kuala Lumpur
- Taipei
- Singapore
- Hong Kong
- Auckland
- Melbourne
- Sydney
The Setlist and Roster
You can definitely expect the girls to deliver their signature hip-hop bangers. The group commands the stage with explosive tracks like Batter Up, We Go Up, Psycho, Sheesh, and Hot Sauce.
Six members will take the Manila stage this September. Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rora, and Chiquita all participated in the latest EP and headline the current tour. Rami currently sits this run out while she recovers from a health issue.
BABYMONSTER stormed into the K-pop scene in April 2024 and quickly proved they carry the legendary YG DNA. They proudly follow in the footsteps of iconic labelmates 2NE1 and BLACKPINK. Live Nation Philippines will drop the official ticketing details and seat map soon.
