Fairmont Makati will hold a Move for Wishes wellness fundraiser on September 26, 2026, with ticket proceeds going to Make-A-Wish. The Saturday event will run from 8 a.m. to noon at Ballroom 2 on the hotel’s second floor in Makati.

Author, podcaster, and Soulful Feasts founder Stephanie Zubiri will lead the morning program. The session will include movement, breathing work, guided reflection, mindfulness, and activities focused on body and energy awareness.

Fairmont lists the participation fee at PHP 2,500 nett per person. Guests need to buy a ticket in advance, and space depends on availability.

The hotel says it will give 100% of ticket proceeds to Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to children with critical illnesses. Move for Wishes forms part of Fairmont’s wider global fundraising work with the group.

The Makati program is called Move for Wishes: Body, Mind & Spirit with Soulful Feasts.

Zubiri will guide the two-hour wellness session from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Her program will use ideas from Own Your Energy: Recharge & Reclaim and the Soulful Embodiment Practice.

Fairmont says the program aims to help guests slow down, pay attention to their bodies, and take part in a shared cause.

On its event page, Fairmont Makati says:

“Because when we feel connected to ourselves, we have greater capacity to move, connect, give and create meaningful change.”

The hotel does not describe the program as medical care or treatment. Instead, it presents the event as a wellness session tied to its charity campaign.

After the main session, the hotel will serve healthy snacks.

How Ticket Sales Support Make-A-Wish

Fairmont describes Move for Wishes as a global fundraising campaign that brings its hotels and local communities together to raise money for Make-A-Wish.

The hotel says all proceeds from the Makati session will go to the foundation.

Fairmont and Make-A-Wish also work together in other countries. Other Fairmont hotels are holding movement and wellness events during the same campaign, with ticket proceeds going to the charity.

Make-A-Wish works with children who have critical illnesses. Its programs help grant wishes to children and support their families during difficult periods.

The Makati event gives local guests a way to join that fundraising work through one paid morning session.

What to Know Before Buying a Ticket

Guests must buy tickets through the Fairmont eBoutique before the event.

After a successful purchase, a Fairmont team member will email the buyer with event details and participant information. Fairmont asks buyers to enter correct and current contact details when they pay.

Each ticket covers one person.

The official terms also say tickets are:

  • non-cancellable
  • non-transferable
  • non-refundable

Fairmont may also change the terms without prior notice. Participation depends on available space.

There is one price detail buyers should check closely.

The main event page lists the participation fee as PHP 2,500 nett per person. However, the terms on the same page say prices include VAT and may also face a 10% service charge and local taxes.

Because those two lines appear together, buyers should review the final amount shown at checkout before paying.

The page also says senior citizens and persons with disabilities may use the standard discount allowed under Philippine law, based on the regular published rate.

What Guests Should Check Before September 26

Fairmont does not list a required fitness level on the event page.

The hotel also does not give a public list of items that guests need to bring. People planning to join may want to ask Fairmont about clothing, mats or other gear, changing areas, and other event needs before September 26.

Guests driving to the hotel can also check current parking rules before the event.

Since advance purchase is required, people interested in joining should check ticket availability through Fairmont’s official page rather than plan on buying a place at the door.

The fundraiser begins with registration at 8 a.m. on September 26 and ends at noon. For now, Fairmont lists the event as part of its September Move for Wishes campaign, with all ticket proceeds set to support Make-A-Wish.
