Hikiniku to Come Opens Second Philippine Branch at SM Megamall

Hikiniku to Come has opened its second branch in the Philippines at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong. The new store began serving diners on September 18, 2026, at Level 3 of the Mega Fashion Hall. It follows the brand’s first local branch at Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City, which opened in October 2025.
The opening gives diners in the Ortigas area another place to try the Japanese chain’s hamburg steak and rice set. It is also Hikiniku to Come’s first branch inside an SM mall.
The SM Megamall branch is now open
The Standard Hospitality Group, which runs Hikiniku to Come in the Philippines, has confirmed that the SM Megamall branch is now open. The brand’s official store list also shows both Metro Manila sites: BGC and SM Megamall.
The restaurant keeps the same simple format used at its other branches. Beef is ground in the store. Each patty is shaped and grilled after an order is placed. The meat is then served over hot rice.
The brand says its meal is built around three parts: meat that is freshly ground, patties that are freshly grilled, and rice that is freshly cooked. Rice is cooked in small batches during the day. Diners sit around the grill area, so they can watch the patties being cooked.
Nicole Concepcion-Salud, group brand manager of The Standard Group, said the first Philippine branch had seen strong demand.
“The reception has been insane. Our store has been consistently full,” Concepcion-Salud said.
That demand came before the move to a second branch less than a year after the BGC opening.
What comes with the Hikiniku to Come set
Hikiniku to Come centers its menu on one main set. The official brand site lists three 90-gram hamburg steaks, rice with free refills, miso soup, grated daikon with ponzu, condiments, pickles, and a raw egg.
A recent report placed the set at ₱885 during a September 14 preview of the SM Megamall branch. An older May report listed it at ₱850, so diners may want to check the current store price before ordering.
The brand also gives a suggested order for eating the three patties. The first can be eaten plain. The second can be paired with grated daikon and ponzu. The third can be eaten with egg and rice. Diners can also use the condiments on the table as they like.

Hikiniku to Come is growing in the Philippines
Hikiniku to Come started in Tokyo in 2020. Its official site lists stores in Japan and several other Asian markets, along with locations in Dubai and Singapore. The Philippines now has two branches on the company’s store list.
The local expansion is being led by The Standard Hospitality Group. The company also operates restaurant brands including Yabu, Ippudo, Elephant Grounds, and Kiwami in the Philippines.
More growth is already planned. Recent reports say a third Hikiniku to Come branch in the Philippines is set for 2027. One report on the latest expansion said the third site is planned for the first quarter of the year. Further branch growth has also been discussed, but full details have not yet been announced.
For now, the confirmed update is that the SM Megamall branch is open. Diners who had been going to BGC now have another branch in Metro Manila.
