World Vision Philippines to Launch 2026 Girls Can Campaign in Quezon City
Last Updated on August 20, 2026 by Over Here Toronto
World Vision Philippines will bring the 2026 Girls Can Campaign to Quezon City this August, continuing its work to support girls through education, leadership, safety, and community action.
The campaign launch will take place on August 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Gateway Mall 1 in Cubao, Quezon City.
Now in its eighth year, Girls Can focuses on helping Filipino girls learn, lead, and grow in environments where they feel heard and supported.

Addressing Barriers Girls Still Face
Filipino girls and women have made progress in education, leadership, and public life. However, gender bias and stereotypes still affect how girls are seen and treated.
These expectations can start early. They may shape how girls view themselves, what roles they believe they can take, and how confidently they join school, family, and community life.
For girls in vulnerable communities, these challenges can become even harder. Poverty, limited access to opportunities, and risks of violence or exploitation can affect their safety, confidence, and future plans.
Girls Can Goes Beyond One Event

Girls Can reflects World Vision Philippines’ work with children, families, schools, and communities.
Through its programs, World Vision helps girls build life skills, understand their rights, take part in decision-making, and grow as young leaders.
At the same time, the organization works with families and communities to challenge harmful social norms. This helps create spaces where both girls and boys can grow with support, dignity, and safety.
What the 2026 Campaign Launch Will Highlight

The 2026 Girls Can Campaign Launch will bring these issues into a public space through stories, advocacy messages, youth voices, and activities.
The event will focus on the realities girls face and the role communities can play in removing barriers.
Key themes include:
- Girls’ education
- Leadership
- Confidence
- Child rights
- Safety and protection
- Youth participation
- Community support
The launch will also give guests a better look at how long-term support can help girls pursue their goals.

Helping Girls Build Their Future
The Girls Can Campaign calls attention to the importance of supporting girls not only in school, but also at home and in their communities.
By working with children, parents, schools, and local partners, World Vision Philippines continues to help create safer spaces where girls can speak, lead, and take part in decisions that affect their lives.
This year’s launch gives the public a chance to learn more about that work and the steps needed to help more Filipino girls move forward.
