WRIVE Releases “Sumayaw Ka” Visualizer With Cianne Dominguez

P-pop group WRIVE has released a new visualizer for “Sumayaw Ka,” its remake of the Gloc-9 song featuring singer and “It’s Showtime” host Cianne Dominguez.

The visualizer arrived on September 12, 2026, following the song’s release on September 4. It features WRIVE members Drei, Asi, Russu, Mathew, and Ishiro performing the track in a simple indoor setting.

The video uses different camera angles, quick edits, and dance shots. The members also appear in denim outfits throughout the visualizer.

A New Version of a Filipino Classic

“Sumayaw Ka” was originally performed by Gloc-9 and released in 2007. The song focuses on facing life’s challenges while continuing to move forward.

WRIVE’s version gives the track a modern P-pop sound while keeping its original message. WRIVE member Russu and Darren Cashwell handled the production and arrangement.

Cianne Dominguez joins WRIVE on the new recording.

According to ABS-CBN, the song carries a message about life’s challenges and the importance of continuing to follow one’s passion.

The group first performed the remake during its first anniversary celebration, “Unang Taon,” in July. WRIVE later performed the song at the Star Magic All-Star Games at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in August.

WRIVE Continues Its Music Run

The release adds another song to WRIVE’s growing catalog.

The five-member group debuted in July 2025 under ABS-CBN Polaris Management and Star Music. Its self-titled debut album arrived in January 2026 and includes songs such as “Ooh La La,” “Señorita,” and “Panaginip Na Lang.”

The group has also continued performing at live events and collaborating with other Filipino artists.

For “Sumayaw Ka,” WRIVE combines its P-pop style with a familiar Filipino rap song. The new visualizer is now available online through the group’s official channels.
