ALYSON Returns From Bali and Cebu, Teases Upcoming Luzon Tour

ALYSON is teasing a possible Luzon tour after returning from major performances at AXEAN Festival in Bali and September Fever in Cebu. The Quezon City band, known for mixing Japanese city pop with Manila Sound, is now looking to bring its live set closer to more Filipino fans outside Metro Manila.
For now, fans can catch ALYSON in Baguio on September 25, 2026, as part of Live at The Cozy Cove.
ALYSON Takes Its Music From Manila to Bali
ALYSON reached a new milestone this year with its international festival debut at AXEAN Festival 2026 in Bali, Indonesia.
The festival took place on August 29 and 30 at Jimbaran Hub and brought together artists, music professionals, and industry delegates from across Southeast Asia and beyond. ALYSON joined fellow Filipino acts PLAYERTWO, Novocrane, and GEE EXCLSV on the lineup.
AXEAN’s official artist directory also listed ALYSON among the Philippine acts featured in the 2026 edition.
For drummer Marcus Mababangloob, performing outside the Philippines was a major step for the group.
“It was a dream to be able to play outside the Philippines,” he said in a statement from the band.
The experience also gave ALYSON a chance to see how Filipino music connects with listeners from other Southeast Asian countries. According to the band, the warm response in Bali felt familiar despite the language and cultural differences.
That connection fits ALYSON’s sound. The five-piece pulls from Japanese city pop while also drawing heavily from Manila Sound, jazz, soul, funk, and classic OPM.

Cebu Becomes Another “Homecourt” for ALYSON
Soon after Bali, ALYSON headed to Cebu for the ninth edition of September Fever.
The independent music festival ran from September 4 to 6, 2026, with activities at Atua Midtown and The Kabilin Center. Its lineup featured Filipino and international acts including ALYSON, The Sundown, Nameless Kids, Shye, kyleaux, and more.
Mababangloob described Cebu as a “homecourt we never knew.”
The band said many people in the crowd already knew its songs even though ALYSON had not played there before. One enthusiastic concertgoer even helped get the audience dancing during the set.
For the group, the Bali and Cebu shows offered two different crowds but one clear takeaway: its music can travel beyond its usual Metro Manila circuit.
‘AFTER OURS’ Pushes ALYSON Deeper Into Manila Sound
The recent shows come after ALYSON released its second full-length album, AFTER OURS, on May 22, 2026 through Offshore Music.
The eight-track album follows the band’s 2023 debut, DEFINITELY LOVE!. However, this time, the group leans further into Manila Sound while keeping the city pop elements that first shaped its identity.
AFTER OURS includes:

ALYSON later brought the record to the stage with AFTER OURS: Live and in Full! on July 17 at Aster Events Place in Mandaluyong. The headlining show featured the album with a full orchestra.

Is an ALYSON Luzon Tour Happening?
A wider ALYSON Luzon tour is now being developed, according to the band’s latest press release, with record label Offshore Music involved in the plans.
However, official tour dates, venues, ticket prices, and participating cities have not yet been announced.
That means fans should treat the tour as an upcoming project rather than a finalized schedule.
Still, after performances in Bali and Cebu, a regional run would give the band another chance to reach listeners beyond its regular Manila shows.

The band will perform at Live at The Cozy Cove on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Mountain Lodge in Baguio City. The show runs from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
