Cup of Joe is going on a hiatus. The OPM band says it will take a break after its “Symphony” concerts on December 3 and 4, 2026, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The news is big for fans, since the band has had one of its busiest years yet.

The band shared the news on October 30, 2026. It happened during “Sandali Sessions: Ikaapat na Yugto,” a Halloween event for fans. At the same event, the band even sang a cover of “Night Changes” while dressed as One Direction.

What the Band Said About the Cup of Joe Hiatus

Lead vocalist Gian Bernardino talked about the plan at the event. He made it clear that the break is not the end of the band.

“That concert is gonna be our temporary goodbye concert,” Bernardino said, according to PhilSTAR Life.

He also told fans, “Hindi naman sobrang goodbye,” which means it is not a big goodbye. Then he added, “Andiyan pa rin naman kami,” or “We are still here.”

The band plans to use the time off to focus on themselves. Bernardino also promised that they will come back stronger. However, the band has not said how long the break will last.
