What Mang Inasal Said About the New Halo-Halo
Mang Inasal president Mike V. Castro said the flavour was picked with Filipino fans in mind. “Chocolate remains a well-loved flavor among Filipinos,” Castro said, as reported by the Daily Tribune.
He also called the new dessert “an extra creamy and indulgent way to celebrate the Christmas season.”
A few food content creators have already tried it. For example, Kent Xyrel Espiritu said, “As a chocolate lover, I like how the chocolate coating gives extra texture in every bite.”
Other creators shared similar thoughts. For instance, Japanese content creator Shotaro Kumano called the dessert a “tsoko overload.” He also said, “This is another reason for me to visit Mang Inasal more often.”
Meanwhile, food creator Chewy’s Mukbangs wrote on social media, “This will be my go-to Mang Inasal dessert this holiday season.” Of course, these are personal opinions, so the best way to judge is to try it yourself.
More Mang Inasal Halo-Halo Flavours
This is not the first time Mang Inasal has given its halo-halo a new twist. In 2025, the chain launched a Four-Cheese Halo-Halo. Then, earlier in 2026, it released a Strawberry Cheesecake Halo-Halo. The new chocolate version is the latest in this line.
The Tsoko N’ Nut Yema Halo-Halo is only around until December 31, 2026. So, if you want to try this new Mang Inasal halo-halo, plan your visit before the year ends.
