Museo Pambata Hosts The Ultimate 3 Day Storytelling Festival For Kids This May
Looking for the perfect summer activity for your active little ones? Skip the usual mall play areas and bring the whole family down to Manila for a truly magical weekend.
The highly anticipated Haraya Storytelling Festival officially returns to Museo Pambata this May 14 to 16, 2026. Expect three full days packed with immersive theater, Filipino fables, and hands-on creativity.
The Mastermind Behind The Magic
Theater teacher Kei Mamangun Sison spearheads this incredible long-term learning project. She collaborated closely with the University of the Philippines DSCTA through Dulaang Laboratoryo to bring this vision to life.
They aim to boost children’s holistic development through the power of performative storytelling. What began as a simple academic exploration now stands as an internationally recognized platform.
Organizers already presented this unique approach to audiences in Australia. Watch out for their upcoming international runs scheduled for Singapore and Indonesia!
What Awaits You Inside The Festival
Prepare for an unforgettable weekend as the festival brings this year’s theme, “Binago. Binuo. Binuhay,” to vibrant life. Museo Pambata’s Balay Yatu transforms into a sprawling wonderland where kids can let their wildest imaginations run free.
The organizers packed the daily schedule with an incredible lineup running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Check out these exciting activities you absolutely cannot miss:
