Vice Ganda and ‘LOL Philippines’ Season 2 Cast Bring the LOL Terminal to Makati
Last Updated on October 28, 2026 by Don Werner Salas
Vice Ganda and the cast of LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines Season 2 gathered in Makati ahead of the October 30 premiere. Prime Video held a media conference and an early episode screening at SPACE at One Ayala on October 27.

For the occasion, the venue became the “LOL Terminal,” complete with a blue carpet, interactive activities and Pinoy street food. There was also one rule to remember: bawal tumawa.
The event gave guests a first look at the new group of comedians. Viewers get their turn when the competition arrives on Prime Video this Friday.
LOL Philippines Season 2: Quick Details
- Premiere: Friday, October 30, 2026
- Streaming platform: Prime Video
- Host: Vice Ganda
- Contestants: 10 Filipino comedians
- Media launch: October 27 at SPACE at One Ayala, Makati
What Happened at the LOL Terminal in Makati
The event leaned into the season’s travel theme instead of holding a standard sit-down press launch. Guests found activity areas, photo opportunities and familiar Filipino street snacks around the venue.
The contestants arrived on the blue carpet before joining Vice Ganda onstage. Event photos also show the cast, showrunners and Prime Video representatives gathering for a celebratory toast.
The playful setup matched the competition’s central challenge. Everyone can try to make someone else laugh, but keeping a straight face is the harder part of the assignment.
This was a preview for media, content creators and special guests, not a public fan screening. The wider audience will see the show when the new season starts streaming.
Vice Ganda Returns With 10 New Contestants
Vice Ganda returns as host, but the contestants are new. Season 2 features Long Mejia, Epy Quizon, Candy Pangilinan, Ethel Booba, Pooh, Donna Cariaga, Chariz Solomon, Esnyr, James Caraan and Charuth.
The lineup spans television, stand-up and online comedy. That mix matters when everyone’s job is to find the joke that will make somebody else lose control.
At the media conference, the cast traded stories and banter about trying to suppress their reactions. For fans seeking more background, Over Here Manila has already published a separate Season 2 cast guide.
What Vice Ganda Shared at the Media Conference
Vice Ganda said the second season was another chance to bring Filipino comedians together in one programme. The host also spoke about learning from the first season and refining the format for this group.
In remarks reported by Philstar, Vice noted that the contestants face the tougher task. Comedians often laugh along with their fellow performers, but this game asks them to fight that instinct.
The new roster also gives Vice a chance to watch younger talents such as Esnyr and Charuth alongside familiar comedy names. Their different styles should make the six-hour challenge less predictable.
The Six-Hour Challenge Behind Last One Laughing
The show’s premise is simple. Ten comedians spend six hours trying to make the others laugh while refusing to crack themselves.
A performer can use characters, jokes, physical comedy or an unexpected bit to test another contestant. At the same time, every reaction puts that performer’s own place in the contest at risk.
The last comedian standing competes for a ₱1 million prize. Chad Kinis won the Philippine edition’s first season in 2024, so this round begins with a new group and no returning champion in the lineup.
The series follows the wider Last One Laughing format, which grew out of Japan’s Documental. UXS Inc. (Unitel / Straight Shooters) produces the Philippine season for Amazon MGM Studios.
A First-Episode Screening Ahead of October 30
Following the Q&A, invited guests watched the first episode before its public debut. The event recap did not reveal who slipped up, leaving the opening round for viewers to see on October 30.
The advance screening came after the cast had spoken about the difficulty of staying serious. It gave attendees a first look at how those personalities behave once the no-laugh rule takes over.
