Sony Music Philippines Wins 11 Awards at the 39th Awit Awards

Sony Music Philippines took home 11 awards at the 39th Awit Awards, with IV OF SPADES, SB19, Ben&Ben, PABLO, YARA, Nateman, and producer Brian Lotho among the night’s winners.
Held on September 15, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, the annual awards recognized artists and releases across OPM. IV OF SPADES earned three awards, including two of the ceremony’s major honors: Album of the Year for Andalucia and Song of the Year for “Aura.” “Monster” also won Best Sound Engineered Recording.
The band later closed the ceremony with a three-song set featuring their new single “Isang Pag-Ibig,” “Kabisado,” and “Aura.”
SB19, Ben&Ben and PABLO Take Home Awards
SB19 won three awards for “DUNGKA!”: Best Pop Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Recording, and Best Music Video.
SB19 member John Paulo Nase, known as PABLO, also earned Songwriter of the Year for his work under RADKIDZ. His recognized work includes material from SB19’s 2025 EP, Simula At Wakas.
Ben&Ben earned two awards for “Saranggola”: Best Performance by a Group and Best Musical Arrangement. The wins come ahead of the band’s first anthology album, Nine, which the band will release on September 24.
Producer Brian Lotho was named Producer of the Year. His recent work includes tracks from IV OF SPADES’ Andalucia, along with recordings involving dwta and the James Reid and TJ Monterde collaboration “Pahinga.”
YARA and Nateman also won Best Remix Recording for “Sabi Ko Na (Remix),” remixed by Yung Bawal.
Sony Music Philippines Celebrates Its Artists
Sony Music Philippines artists were also part of the ceremony’s performances. Marina Summers performed “Walang Kaba,” which was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Recording.
Speaking about the label’s wins, Maan Atienza, General Manager of Sony Music Entertainment Philippines, said the recognition reflects the label’s focus on supporting artists with distinct creative voices.
“More than anything, we take pride in seeing our roster of acts earn recognition for the quality, originality, and artistic vision they bring to the industry,” Atienza said.
The Philippine Association of the Record Industry Inc. (PARI) presented the 39th Awit Awards at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
